In order to stand our ground in cross-border cooperations, the ability to communicate in the languages of our neighbouring countries is gaining in importance, especially for educators. The information and training centre of the Pedagogic Institute made the need for improvement of the language expertise of the Centrope Region citizens a subject matter. In addition, Centrope Region participants have the opportunity to exchange their experience concerning the methodological-didactical realisation of the foreign language competence that has to be communicated. The cross-cultural understanding and ability to communicate should be encouraged to a degree that ultimately leads to a common basis of communication in the Centrope Region.
